In 2017 he was given an MBE for his work in community cohesion and reconciliation.

I share my life with my husband Mark, a number of grown up children who wish to remain anonymous and two dogs that don’t care if I tell you that their names are Holly and Jacob. Mark and I have a show on an internet radio station called ‘In the Pop Kitchen’ that is recorded in our actual kitchen.
Debra is Chair of the Trustees and mentor to the residential community. She is a pharmacist, a member of General Synod and enjoys theatre, music and walking.
David is Secretary to the Trustees and a mentor to the Tsedaqah community. He is also a Reader in his United Benefice. He enjoys caravanning, volunteering at the Micah Foodbank , singing (especially "nonsense" songs), tea and scones. If he were King for a day, he would insist on only clotted cream with scones and jam.
Tabitha is a curate at St Bede with St Clement Toxteth.She is so in love with many shades of red lipstick :) and yoga keeps her healthy.
Nelson is serving a second year as the Cathedral Assistant placed in the Tsedaqah Community by the Young Adult Service Corps by the Episcopal Church. When not in the Cathedral or the MICAH Foodbank, he enjoys reading mysteries, watching British comedy, and obeying his soft toy animal companion, Scruffy.
Ian is a community resident from Chicago, Illinois. His placement is at Liverpool Parish Church (Our Lady and St. Nicholas). He has a special love for the ideas of James Cone, the writings of William Shakespeare, and the artistry of Arsene Wenger.
Tom is a non-residential member of the community from Liverpool placed at St. Bart's, Roby. He likes Art, Music and being creative.
Rosa is a non-residential member of the community. She is working as an intern at St. Bart's Roby. She likes traveling the world, reading loads of books and eating spicy food.
